|Apple-rice pudding (Apple Kheer)|
|50 g||Apples, fresh, grated, 50 g peeled|
|100 ml||Milk, toned|
|1||Cardamom, powdered (optional)|
|20 g (4 tsp)||Sugar|
Pressure cook grated apple and washed rice. Blend them to form a puree. Cool to room temperature. Boil milk and water in a heavy-based pan; cook it till it becomes about half of the original amount. Cool it. Add apple rice paste and sugar to milk. Boil it for 5-10 minutes stirring continuously. Serve it hot or cold in a bowl.
