Apple-rice pudding (Apple Kheer)
10 g Rice
50 g Apples, fresh, grated, 50 g peeled
100 ml Milk, toned
200 ml Water
1 Cardamom, powdered (optional)
20 g (4 tsp) Sugar

Cooking Instructions

Pressure cook grated apple and washed rice. Blend them to form a puree. Cool to room temperature. Boil milk and water in a heavy-based pan; cook it till it becomes about half of the original amount. Cool it. Add apple rice paste and sugar to milk. Boil it for 5-10 minutes stirring continuously. Serve it hot or cold in a bowl.
